JOB POSTING/DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Assistant Property Manager to join our growing team! Join a team with over 40 years of success in the real estate industry with room for YOU TO GROW. 

The Assistant Property Manager will assist with the community's day-to-day operations and provide exceptional customer service. The Assistant Property Manager reports to the Property Manager and supports the operations and financial performance of the property.  

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Ensure resident needs are met, inquiries are handled, phones are answered
  • Develop relationships with prospective and current tenants.
  • Prepare and schedule property viewings, conduct property tours and interview prospective tenants.
  • Facilitate lease agreements and run applications.
  • Oversee renewal process, move-outs, and process evictions as necessary.
  • Review and maintain all resident files
  • Communicate effectively and clearly with tenants, vendors, employees, and visitors.
  • Train leasing agents and mentor co-workers. 
  • Work with vendors and maintenance staff to ensure the timely completion of maintenance requests and property maintenance
  • Ability to carry out supervisory responsibilities in absence of the Property Manager
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Property Manager and Regional Supervisor

Requirements: 

  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Six to nine months of related experience or training.
  • Ability to apply language, math, and reasoning skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software.
  • Understanding of marketing and accounting principles.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Good customer service skills.

Work hours
